The Triple Bar Nuclear New Build Sites (TBNNBS) training course has been developed to provide individuals with a basic level of understanding of some of the important aspects about working on a nuclear new build site and how this may differ to other construction projects. The course introduces the requirements for compliance, nuclear awareness and industry behaviours expected for working in the nuclear industry to ensure individuals understand the need to work safely and maintain the safety of their work colleagues, the site and the environment both now and in the future.

The TBNNBS training is aimed at individuals who will require unescorted access for working on a nuclear new build site approved by UK Government for the construction of new civil nuclear power stations. For those contracted to Hinkley Point C the training is now included in the one day EDF Energy induction process so is not required. However, the training is available here should you wish to conduct the training prior to being on-boarded. By completing the training and assessment prior to working on a nuclear new build site, you will join over 10,000 others that have completed the TBNNBS, have a better understanding and appreciate the expectations for site induction and working safely on the site.

This TBNNBS training and assessment has been developed with EDF Energy, NSAN and the wider UK nuclear industry.

This course has been developed to run as High and Standard definition versions. It has also been developed to run on HTML5 and Flash.

At the end of the course there is an assessment to demonstrate you have retained an awareness of the learning content and you will be provided with a certificate for successfully achieving the pass mark of 80%.

4. Once you pass, close the assessment window and your course will have moved from "enrolled" to "completed" and you can download your certificate from there. Your certificate will also be emailed to you but you may need to check your "junk" folder.
